We require a reliable Commercial kitchen duct cleaner to join our team based on the Gold Coast. The role consists of cleaning commercial kitchen canopy/rangehood externally and also internally, as well as the internal ducting within that system, through to the extraction fan which is often located on the roof of a building, or sometimes inside ceiling space.

Long term and secure position as we have a large client base and this work is required by law to be carried out on a regular basis at all commercial food venues. We strive to provide a good work environment and you will be joining a great team, although you will generally work alone more often than not.

We service Brisbane to Northern NSW however the vehicles and equipment needed for each day are located at our Gold Coast location so that is where you will be starting and finishing.

You will require as a minimum:

- **Reliable**:

- **Combination of early starts and late starts - can start at 4am and finish before 12, or alternatively can sometimes start at 8pm and work through later into the night, overtime applies and all work is scheduled a minimum of a week in advance, usually there is visibility over the next 4+ weeks, all work is planned, it is not on call work.)**:

- Open driver license (manual ute or van is used during work).
- Self starter with a can do work attitude
- Ability to work independently -must be trustworthy, honest and able to be responsible for ensuring their work is up to company standard, and also being the type of person who works to uphold the standards on their own accord.
- Fit and healthy (**this is physical work, but also rewarding)**:

- **Police check and references required - non negotiable.**

You will be responsible for loading and unloading of your vehicle for the day, completing a set run of services on your own. You will be required to perform multiple tasks from removing and installing basic items in commercial kitchen environments, deep cleaning stainless steel ducting within those environments, including the fan which is often located on the rooftop.

**Job Types**: Permenant/Casual

Pay: $1,000.00 - $1,500.00 per week, there is always more work available, if you are meeting the required workload we are always open to discuss additional hours.

Schedule:

- Varying shifts, pre scheduled each week and often several weeks in advance
- 4 days per week
- No weekends
- No public holidays

- Do you consider yourself physically fit and can you confirm that you are able to perform tasks that include lifting heavy objects, sitting in a vehicle, entering and exiting the vehicle, standing, walking, pushing a trolley, working on a ladder, sometimes accessing ceiling void or working at height on a roof.?

Licence/Certification:

- Manual Driver Licence (required)
- Work Safely at Heights (preferred but not essential. Must be willing and able to complete the training and do this type of work where required).

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)

Pay: $31.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 38 per week

Schedule:

- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Overtime

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

**Experience**:

- Duct Cleaning: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Manual driver licence (preferred)
- Work Safely at Heights (preferred)
