We are growing our team and are on the lookout for a **Furniture Assembler / Factory Hand.**This role is for Full-Time or Part-Time work, based at our factory in the Western suburbs of Victoria.

Working on a rotating roster, working days will be set based on business needs between Monday and Friday. Standard working hours will be 8.00am to 4.00pm

**Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for completing daily duties, including**:

- Breakdown of inward goods and arranging storage
- Picking of stock, pallet wrapping and readying stocked goods for dispatch
- Basic assembly of commercial furniture items, including using manual tools and electric tools
- Maintaining a clean working environment

**Required skills and attributes**

**Mandatory**
- Fluent in English
- Must have proven experience with, and be competent in, the assembly of commercial furniture items

**Preferred**
- Experience with picking stock from storage
- Basic computer knowledge
- Holder of a **Forklift License**(or willing to complete during employment)

**To be successful in this role, you will be expected to**:

- Be able to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
- Must be able to work unsupervised and use initiative
- Demonstrated reliability, punctuality and commitment to work
- Physically fit and able to manually handle, or use tools and equipment, to move bulky or heavy items

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $29.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

- English (required)

Licence/Certification:

- forklift license (preferred)
