**TITLE: Floor Manager**

An opportunity presents itself here at The Woodhouse Bar and Grill. We are currently seeking a Floor Manager that thrives on a positive team culture and work within a stable environment.

The Floor Manager responsibilities includes assisting maintaining the restaurant’s revenue, profitability and quality goals. You will ensure efficient restaurant operation, as well as maintain high quality and customer-service standards.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need management skills and experience in front of house. We want you to know how to oversee the dining room, check-in with customers and balance seating capacity

We’ll expect you to lead by example and lead our staff during busy moments in our fast-paced environment. Ultimately, you will ensure our restaurant runs smoothly and customers have pleasant dining experiences.

**THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE**:
**As the Floor Manager you will**:

- Ensure smooth and efficient daily floor operations of the restaurant and bar
- Managing the day-to-day profitability, presentation and operation of the restaurant and bar
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the company's food and beverage features to promote to clients
- Managing, leading and motivating staff to ensure a high preforming team culture is maintained
- Supervising and coordinating the front-of-house team to deliver outstanding customer experiences
- Overseeing the dining room, ensuring smooth service and efficient workflow
- Providing exceptional customer service and resolving any customer issues in a professional and timely manner
- Support the team in delivering outstanding service standards
- Assist with rostering, stock control, and compliance requirements
- Train and mentor team members, fostering a positive workplace culture
- Collaborate with management to implement new ideas and initiatives

**Qualifications**

**To be a success in this position, you will have**:

- Minimum 3 years managerial experience gained in a similar role
- A current RSA certificate
- Strong staff management experience, with the ability to lead, develop and motivate a high preforming team
- Ability to generate and implement revenue building ideas throughout the Food and Beverage department
- Solid understanding of alcohol
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills and an unwavering positive attitude.
- A high level of self-motivation and confidence.
- Diploma in Hospitality Management or similar (preferred but not essential)
- Availability to work evenings and weekends

**WHO WE ARE**

The Woodhouse is one of central Victoria’s leading restaurants. Headlining Local artisan produce is our philosophy with a grand showcase of Australia best meats cooked over our customized red gum grill and charcoal oven.

Pay: $30.00 - $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 - 44 per week
