J L KING are a locally owned and operated business in Bendigo,Manufacturing Salads and ready meals, along with suppling the freshest produce within central Victoria.J L KING, currently have several cleaning positions vacant within our Food Manufacturing, Cool rooms, Admin & Common areas.Some of these areas are classed as HIGH risk and will require extra training from our QA team.A quick rundown on some of the Duties and responsibilities requiredPerform heavy cleaning>> of floors, walls and glass. covering areas such as Tearoom, toilets, change rooms, factory and moreYou will be required to Operate industrial cleaning equipment, such as power washers, floor scrubbers, and vacuumsEnsure that all cleaning operations adhere to established health and safety proceduresFollow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixturesNotify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairsRemove hazardous materials in line with safety regulationsMaintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipmentCleaning down of factory machinery, this will require a high level of careHandle and store cleaning supplies and chemicals in a safe mannerFollow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixturesMonitor building security and safety by performing tasks such as locking doors after operating hoursNotify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systemsQualificationsPrevious experience in a similar role is preferredKnowledge of cleaning chemicals and suppliesAbility to handle heavy equipment and machineryKnowledge of Material Safety Data SheetsIntegrity and ability to work independently
