**Job Summary**

Our Team LSKD Head Trainers (Store Managers) are accountable for every aspect of the retail store operation, they live it, breathe it, and run it like their own business. All of our crew are Humble, Hungry and Smart - they are the ideal team players. This role is responsible for growing the local community connections, coaching and developing their team, driving key strategic relationships and profitable growth of their store.

**Coaching & Leading from the front**:

- Create a vision for the store based on the core LSKD values and align to local events and initiatives.
- Hire, coach and build a world class team that embraces and shares our values with their local communities.
- Manage the store’s talent process, including recruitment, selection, and onboarding through the LSKD Academy.
- Support ongoing learning and development of all store crew consistently and equitably by providing direct feedback, coaching, mentoring, and career path guidance, and proactively addressing performance concerns.
- Engage in career discussions to support and reinforce team understanding of how working at LSKD will contribute to career and personal growth - set health, career and personal goals.
- Plan and prepare team rosters according to labour requirements, availability, and budget considerations - utilize Deputy rostering platform and back-up with on-call shifts
- Responsible for all employee relations issues, including knowing when to partner with HQ Team Experience Rep to take appropriate action.

**Community Experience**
- Support our crew (e.g., leading by example) to ensure an engaging community experience - create long standing relationships with our growing community. That's right, we want you to build a localised street team and get your store crew into the community.
- Increase brand awareness and acceptance in the local community by creating and supporting local athletes and fitness partnerships - that's right - get out there

**Operations**
- Manage whole store profit and loss (P&L) in accordance with goals (sales, budget, etc.).
- Plan and execute high-level quarterly and annual planning for the store with respect to strategy, budget, and labour (including recruiting and training/development).
- Plan floor coverage and make decisions to maintain efficiency and effectiveness of floor operations.
- Understand and adhere to people safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
- Perform work in accordance with applicable policies, procedures, and laws or regulations.
- Accountable for controllable budget; labor hours; annual sales plan target
- Leadership role directly responsible for all store employees (may delegate some aspects of management)
