**About us**

We're InLife. A not-for-profit disability support provider that specialises in working with people with frequent and complex support needs, including 24/7 assistance.

We build teams around every client, depending on each person's needs and preferences. We partner with people with any type of disability who want to live independently in the community (and we love to make that happen). That's why our assistants are so important.

Our clients may have physical disability, acquired brain injury, neurological conditions, intellectual disability or autism. We're honoured that many of our clients rely solely on InLife for their essential support needs. Nobody else. Just us.

Our teams are based in Melbourne, Geelong and regional Victoria, including Benalla, Wangaratta, Stawell and Bendigo.

**To do a great job, you'll need**:

- Good judgement and common sense, listening skills, a willingness to learn and a commitment to our values.
- Experience and skills supporting clients who can display Mental Health Behaviors of concern (BOC)
- Knowledge around ABI and communicating with cognitively impaired clients
- Experience supporting people with a physical disability including transfers/use of equipment and confidence in hoisting
- Have great patience and be willing to put in the time and energy to build rapport with client
- Enthusiasm and passion for supporting people with disabilities to live great lives.
- Commitment to working with a care team approach, including guidance from professionals. For example, supporting our clients to complete a regular physiotherapy program
- Full drivers licence and be willing and comfortable with driving clients vehicle
- Willingness to work varied shifts; sleepovers, day support including community access, in-home evening support with home duties required. We also need you to commit to ongoing shifts (more than twice weekly)
- We are looking to support clients based in Greendale, Kyneton, Heathcote, Bendigo

Based on the COVID-19 Mandatory Vaccination (Workers) Directions that came into effect recently, InLife are required to collect, record and hold vaccination information about you. You will need to be fully vaccinated, which for the disability sector will mean 3 doses or hold a relevant medical exemption to work with us. More detail is available on our website.
