**The opportunity**

We are seeking a talented **Support System Modelling and Optimisation Analyst **to support programs such as the BDA's Air Combat and Electronic Attack (ACEA) program with Royal Australian Air Force's fleet of F/A-18F Super Hornets and EA-18G Growlers. The role will be based in Brisbane at RAAF Amberley QLD. Working within the ACEA Modelling and Simulation team, you will aid in deployment of BDA system modelling and analysis tools within the ACEA Program in order to identify opportunities and formulate recommendations which improve the overall performance of ACEA logistics and maintenance support systems.

**Responsibilities**:

- Create models to support informed decision making within complex support system environments, ability to produce clear recommendations for achievement of supportability requirements.
- Formulates recommendations for support resources.
- Assesses lifecycle cost impacts, design changes and design influence factors that affect supportability of the product or service
- Performing support systems analysis for design changes and upgrades and developing products and services to support the system through-life.
- Contribute to problem solving and opportunity improvement initiatives being led by the ACEA Modelling and Simulation team Lead

**Experience/Qualifications**
- Formal qualifications in logistics management, supply support, aviation maintenance, or fleet technical support with 3 or more years' related work experience
- Experience using Excel/VBA/Access/SQL or similar to create model-based solutions is desirable but not essential
- Experience in aviation support, fleet planning, Support System Analysis, Repair Analysis and/or other associated logistics engineering standards would be advantageous.
- Proficiency in interpreting, manipulating, and analyzing complex support system data. Familiarity with Defence logistics data sources (CAMM2/NetMAARS, MILIS, eMRD) highly desirable but not essential.
