Your support will enable our clients to remain living independently and comfortably in their own homes, throughout the Victoria Region.
**The Opportunity**:

**About You**:
We require our Care Workers to be reliable, committed, and empathetic individuals to provide quality care as a Support Worker
We look for:

- A can-do attitude and genuine interest in helping others
- Extensive experience with manual handling and working with high intensity participants
- Various hobbies - sewing, arts, gardening, cooking and scrap booking to name a few
- Experience in various outdoor pursuits and activities
- A practical understanding of hygiene assistance and commitment of care
- Enjoyment in social activities, and one-on-one engagement
- Understanding of physical limitations and a safe, sensible approach
- Creativity, enthusiasm, sensitivity and emotional stability
- Strong communication and organisational skills - able to manage your time and support clients to do the same in an everyday capacity
- People who have some extra time and appreciate being with others
- Those who have strong work ethics and enjoy being team player
- Commitment to providing responsive and considerate care
- Prioritise punctuality and reliability
- Prioritise individual, family and guardian needs
- Flexible and adaptive communication skills

**Qualifications required**:

- Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability, Community Services or equivalent.
- A current National Police Certificate
- Open **Valid Driver License and your own, reliable vehicle (must required)**:

- Physically capable of meeting the requirements of the role
- Current First aid Certificate
- Smart Phone and internet access.

All applicants must have a relevant visa or working rights in Australia.

A Care Worker role with 9D care will provide you with training and development opportunities, flexibility in working hours and access to a network of fellow carers passionate about improving quality of life.
