Volunteer Drivers

All Aged Care is a dynamic, progressive, experienced, not-for-profit aged care provider who offer affordable in-home services and aged accommodation choices with a focus on wellness and re-enablement which meet the specific needs of culturally diverse clients. To ensure the best possible care and lifestyle outcomes for clients we have a multi-disciplinary, bilingual workforce and an integrated holistic approach to health care through working collaboratively with other health professionals.

**Role**:

- The role of the volunteer driver is to transport our senior clients.
- This is either on a one-to-one basis from their home to various appointments in the community or:

- Transporting a group of respite attendees to various Brisbane locations such as Redcliffe, Shorncliffe or the Bayside.
- This role is to help make a difference in the lives of our seniors and help support seniors meet their day to day social commitments.

**Experience**:
Drivers must have:

- good communication and problem solving skills with the ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well with a wide range of people including those who are culturally and linguistically diverse.
- Ability to reliably commit and provide services according to agreed schedule.
- Willingness and commitment to working within All Aged Care philosophies, values, policies and procedures
- If using your own vehicle to transport clients they must be:

- Registered, roadworthy and clean at all times;
- Comprehensively insured (with insurance certificate provided and kept up to date).

**Time Commitment**: The time commitment for this volunteer role can vary, depending on the availability and needs of the individuals and families seeking support. You may choose to volunteer a specific number of hours or days per week or be available on a flexible roster.

- Vaccination - current influenza
- Certificates/Licences
- Australian Federal Police check (will be paid for)
- Australian open drivers licence
- Australian resident or working visa within Australia
