**4x Garden Care & Maintenance roles: providing garden support and outdoor maintenance for people in the aged and disability community.**

The purpose of this role is to provide reliable, high-quality garden care and maintenance services that help clients maintain safe, enjoyable, and accessible outdoor spaces. As a valued team member of JC Assist, you will support clients’ independence and wellbeing through respectful, friendly, and professional service. This role is more than yard work and maintenance jobs — it’s about showing care and building trust through each visit.

**Core objectives include**:

- Greeting clients of the business
- Lawn mowing and whipper snipping
- Weeding and green waste removal
- Hedge trimming and minor pruning
- General outdoor tidying
- Must be physically able to work within a manual handling environment
- Client liaison and relationship building
- Positive and friendly customer focus
- Proactive and an eye for detail
- Committed and reliable
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety

Other ad hoc outdoor tasks as required

JC Assist supplies uniform, training & all equipment required. We roster between the hours of 7:30am-4:30pm. No weekends or public holidays. (Trails may be held on weekends)

**You must**:

- Be willing to travel in and around our service area of the Knox, Maroondah, Yarra Ranges, Whitehorse and surrounding areas
- Be available minimum three consistent days a week
- Have a police check
- Have a reliable car and valid licence
- Complete the introduction to NDIS modules
- Have access to a smartphone to utilise our rostering software
- Clear spoken and written communication is essential

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: From $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 38 per week

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift

**Experience**:

- Garden Care and Maintenance: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (required)

Work Location: On the road

Expected Start Date: 12/05/2025
