**_About the role_**
The Caseworker is responsible for providing high quality and effective case work services for children and young people in Out-of-Home-Care and Permanency Support Programs, supporting and developing carers, and supporting the recruitment of foster and kinship carers.
**_ This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract till 7 July 2026, 38 hours per week opportunity based in Blacktown within our Permanency Support Program. The position reports to the Home-Based Care Coordinator._**
**_ Key Selection Criteria:_**
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A tertiary qualification in social work or relevant field;
- Demonstrated experience in casework practice preferably in Out-of-Home-Care;
- Proven ability to relate to and work with children and young people with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties;
- Understanding of Out-of-Home-Care and Permanency Support policy, standards and quality frameworks;
- Experience in carer recruitment and support; or the capacity to develop these skills;For a full listing please view the Position Description at the bottom of this page.
