About the Role:
Qualifications and Skills:
Demonstrated experience working with young people, particularly Indigenous youth, in a supportive capacity.
Understanding of the social, emotional, and cultural needs of Indigenous students, with a commitment to cultural competence and sensitivity.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with students, families, and community members.
Knowledge of relevant support services, agencies, and resources available to young people and their families.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, with flexibility, empathy, and resilience.
Maintain accurate records, report writing and data entry requirements in line with professional standards.
Relevant qualifications in youth work, social work, education, or a related field are desirable.

Full training and ongoing professional development will be provided in partnership with Ganbina, Australia's most successful Indigenous school to work transition program, and Keebra Park SHS.
