Are you passionate about working with students and their families? We are looking for a Regional Youth Support Coordinator (RYSC) on a short term contract. The RYSC provides support and supervision to Youth Support Coordinators working with students at risk of disengaging from education in the South East Region.
This temporary vacancy is open to Expressions of Interest and any extensions to this appointment will not exceed 12 months.

About The RoleAs the Regional Youth Support Coordinator, you will lead and manage the implementation of the Youth Support Coordinator Initiative across the region, including implementing a system of professional supervision in collaboration with principals to ensure the youth support services within the schools are high quality.
You will have strong relational skills, build strong partnerships across internal and external stakeholders and support the development of the youth support coordinators.
We Are Looking ForIt would be highly regarded to have the following skills and experience:
- Experience working with at-risk or disengaged students and families.
- Experience leading a team.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with families, schools, and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated cultural competency, especially working with First Nations students and diverse backgrounds.
- High standards of confidentiality, conduct, and information privacy.
- Familiarity with the education department and systems.
- Prior experience in multi-disciplinary teams.
- Understanding of inclusive education principles.
- Attach a brief resume including contact details for 2 referees (referees should have an understanding of your relevant work history);
- Attach a 1-page written statement about how your achievements and capabilities meet the requirements of the role.
