Our Area Manager team is growing and we are looking for a dedicated, mature and compassionate animal lover looking to fulfil our clients’ needs in pet aftercare and to support our purpose in “Honouring a lifetime of unconditional love."

This position requires you to do both metropolitan and may include some country driving for the collection of client's pets from homes and vet clinics as well as returning pets ashes back home.

**About the role**:

- Carry out pet collections from vet clinics, which involves handling deceased pets which are usually hygienically bagged and chilled
- Occasionally collect a pet direct from the owners home
- Delivering pet ashes to vet clinics and pet owners homes
- Read and complete paperwork requirements with accuracy and attention to detail
- Ensure the vehicle and work areas are maintained at the standard and expectations of the Company
- Navigate daily runs and use technology to organise daily runs
- There is heavy lifting involved and full training will be given in this area

**What you will need to succeed**:

- Drivers licence with a minimum of 9 demerit points left
- A passion for helping people during a difficult time
- Be physically fit and comfortable with handling deceased pets in a professional manner
- Reliable and flexible to meet the changing needs of the business
- Excellent personal presentation and verbal communication skills
- An ability to be organised and thrives in working in a clean and tidy environment
- Experienced in safe lifting procedures
- Empathy combined with professionalism at an emotional time for our clients
- Be fully COVID vaccinated
