We are seeking a friendly, organised and detail oriented Medical Receptionist to join our dynamic team here at Peelwood Family Medical Practice. Our practice is committed to delivering exceptional patient care and we are looking for someone who shares in our values.

We are a privately owned centre of and our doctors service all areas of general medicine; specialising in the areas of chronic disease management care and dermatology/skin cancer management and surgery.

Our centre prides itself on providing accessible healthcare for all members of the community. In this role, you will work collectively with our General Practitioners and Practice staff to continue providing care for our patients.

General Responsibilities:

- Greet patients, answer phone calls and manage appointments.
- Handle patient registrations, medical records and billing.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers and non clinical staff.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to privacy polities
- Perform administrative tasks such as data entry and reporting.

General Requirements
- Preferably 1+ year of experience in a medical reception role.
- Excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Medical Software, preferably Best Practice.
- Ability to work in a fast -paced environment.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 - 22 per week

**Experience**:

- Medical admin: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
