What to Expect
- This is an excellent opportunity for an EHS Coordinator to join Tesla's Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) team, providing critical support to our dynamic team whilst learning a wide range of skills within the energy and construction industries.
In this fast-paced position, you will be supported but responsible for complex daily work within an extensive scope of EHS disciplines across our Energy and Charging operations. In addition, you will assist with various critical tasks, event analysis and projects when required. This role will give an energetic, motivated and enthusiastic individual wanting to establish a career within Tesla a solid foundation for growth with applicable skills and industry knowledge.
This position is based in Adelaide, Australia and will require travel (up to 30%) given the geographical reach of the business.

What You’ll Do
- Be a vital Environmental, Health and Safety Team member, supporting the broader Energy team.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and execution of critical local and global business objectives.
- Provide analysis of existing legal and internal requirements alongside efficiency to ensure best practice.
- Provide guidance and assist in developing risk assessments, procedures, work instructions and initiatives driving the simplification and improvement of frontline work.
- Support event analysis, follow-up, management, and process improvement.
- Perform inspections and audits on employees and contractors.

What You’ll Bring
- Degree in a relevant field of occupational safety, environmental, project management or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Microsoft suite, including experience with SharePoint.
- Ability to work in a team in an organised and independent manner.
- Bias for action, with the ability to be proactive, creative, and innovative in approaching challenges.
- Proven record of prioritising effectively and handling shifting priorities.
- Detail-driven outlook, with an ability to execute efficiently, accurately and quickly in a fast-moving and dynamic environment.
- A current driver’s license and willingness to obtain a police check and Working with Children’s check.
