**The Role**

As Warehouse Supervisor, you will report to the Warehouse Manager and will supervise a small team of warehouse assistants and team leaders. Additionally, through your workplace health and safety expertise you will be responsible for the safe and efficient day to day operation of the site.

We are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our busy team on a full time basis, largely working Monday to Friday but may require some overtime and weekend working during peak periods.

Key Responsibilities:

- Training, managing and supervising a team of Warehouse Assistants
- Managing rosters in line with budget (using Dayforce) and assigning workloads.
- Making sure goods received and dispatched are accurately recorded, split and delivered on time.
- Measuring and reporting the effectiveness of warehousing activities including monitoring pick rates and accuracy.
- Organising and maintaining inventory and storage area.
- Timely and effective communication with key stakeholders.
- Act as interface with customers to answer questions or solve problems.
- Maintain items record, document necessary information and utilise reports to project warehouse status.
- Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices.
- Support the Warehouse Manager in ensuring the warehouse meets compliance in regard to safety and effective management
- Confer and coordinate activities with other departments.

To be considered you must have:

- Proven work experience as a Warehouse Supervisor.
- Highly effective supervisory and communication skills.
- Knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiency.
- Ability to input, retrieve and analyse data.
- Hands-on commitment to getting the job done.
- Excellent team building and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Forklift Licence
