**About the role**:
Future Fuels & Carbon team is responsible for Identifying, developing and executing on a pipeline of hydrogen, carbon offset and other renewable fuel opportunities to support the realisation of Origin's strategy.

The Product Lifecycle Analyst is responsible for developing and maintaining the product lifcycle assessment (LCA) tools, and processes to enable techno-economic assessment of renewable fuel and carbon soutions.

**Responsibilities**
- Use life cycle assessment methods to perform product life cycle assessments (LCAs)including the development of tools and processes to assess impacts of system configuration, technology and economics
- Perform LCA aligned to the requirements of Net Zero Certifications (domestically and internationally)
- Develop a comprehensive LCA tool through working across stakeholders and entities to capture and update required data sets
- Develop decarbonisation/carbon emission reduction strategies for products/solutions/projects
- Undertake research on the relevant codes, standards and National/ International policies on carbon emissions and/or decarbonisation
- Gather, compile, analyze, prepare, and summarize data for LCA and complex sustainability and environmental projects
- Develop and maintain models to provide decision support by data modeling, including financial aspects through life cycle costing

Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of global regulations and emerging expectations across ESG, SBTi while understanding the potential impact those expectations and requirements may have on the FF&C business

**What will you bring?**

Essential requirements:

- Degree qualification in Business, Engineering or a related discipline
- Highly capable of creating and modifying Excel financial and economic models
- Proven ability to distill complex data into actionable insights to inform all stages of project/ opportunity
- Demonstrated experience exercising judgment to determine appropriate course of action and prepare recommendations based on sound data analysis

Desirable requirements:

- Highly developed communication skills (verbal and written), people and interpersonal skills
- Experience in Renewable fuels including Hydrogen and its vectors
