**About the role**
As a Youth Program Facilitator, you will engage with young people and support the delivery of high-quality youth programs and services, consistent with the needs and aspirations of young people, the broader community and Council.
- Day to day duties include:_
- Contributing to the daily operation of Council's Youth Centre based at the new Bentleigh Library and Youth Hub
- Facilitating engaging programs within a school setting (both in person and online)
- Providing information to young people, parents, and schools
- Organising and facilitating Youth Services' community-based programming
- Support the delivery of Youth events such as the Glen Eira School Holiday Programs and Family Information Nights
- Networking and maintaining relationships with community organisations

***Skills and experience**
- Completed or currently studying a Tertiary qualification in Youth Work or related field
- Considerable experience or knowledge of Youth Work or related field
- Ability to engage and interact with young people and a broad range of community members
- Confident to facilitate programming in person and online
- Current Victorian Drivers Licence and regular access to a vehicle
- Current Employee Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain)
