**About the Role**

As an FOH Bakery Assistant, you’ll be the friendly face of Van Dough, serving our artisan breads, pastries, and a range of handcrafted baked goods. You’ll play an essential role in creating a warm and inviting atmosphere, assisting customers with their orders, and maintaining the presentation of our kiosk to reflect our brand's high standards.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Greet and assist customers with a positive, welcoming attitude.
- Offer product knowledge to help customers select from our bakery items.
- Prepare and package bakery items, including slicing bread, assembling pastry boxes, and wrapping items for display.
- Assist with light product prep work, such as arranging pastries, filling display trays, and ensuring baked goods are properly labeled.
- Process transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the FOH area.
- Restock displays to ensure products are always available and visually appealing.
- Collaborate with team members to create a seamless customer experience.

**What We’re Looking For**
- **Experience in customer service** (experience in food or bakery retail is a plus).
- **Excellent communication and interpersonal skills** - you love engaging with people.
- **Attention to detail** to ensure product presentation and service quality.
- **Ability to multitask** in a fast-paced environment.
- **Team-oriented mindset** with a proactive, can-do attitude.
