**Northern Rivers In Home Care is a not for profit approved In Home Care Provider on the Gold Coast and Northern Rivers areas. In Home Child Care is an education funded by the Australian Government Department of Education. It is designed to help families who have no access to existing child care services or families whose circumstances mean that existing child care cannot meet their needs.**

**We are looking for a caring, reliable, and flexible qualified Educator to help care for two young children - a 3-year-old and a 15-month-old - on a rotating shift basis.**

**Location**: Mitchelton, Brisbane
**Children**: 3-year-old and 15-month-old
**Shifts**: 7 shifts per fortnight (mixed early, late, night, and afternoon shifts mum is a nurse)
**Typical shift times include**:

- Early: 6:00am - 8:00pm
- Late: 6:00am - 4:00pm
- Night: 6:00pm - 8:00am
- Afternoon: 1:30pm - 11:30pm

**About the Role**:
We are seeking a warm and responsible Educator who can provide loving care and structure. Duties include:

- Engaging the children with age-appropriate play, activities, and outings (as appropriate)
- Preparing meals/snacks
- Nappy changes and supporting toilet training (if applicable)
- Light household duties related to the children (tidying toys, cleaning up after meals, etc.)
- Supporting sleep and bedtime routines

**Start Date**:
July 2025

**Pay**:

- $37.96 per hour

**The successful applicant will have the following prerequisites**:

- _Certificate III in Children’s Services (min 2 years experience)_
- _Hold a current First Aid and CPR Certificate - Childcare First Aid Training HLTAID0011 and HLTAID009_
- _Blue card and Police Clearance_
- _Liability insurance (once successfully placed)_
- _Medical Clearance_
- _Child Protection (refresher required every 2 years)_
- _ABN (this role is for a self employed/contractor)_
- _Photo ID_
- _PRODA RA (the office will assist you with this)_

Licence/Certification:

- Police Clearance (preferred)

- Cert III in Early Childhood Education and Care (required)
- HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an education and care setting (required)
- HLTAID009 - Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (required)
- Blue Card (preferred)
