About the Contract:
The Toowoomba Second Range Crossing is the one of the largest road infrastructure projects in Queensland's history. The $1.6 billion project is a 41km road bypass route to the north of Toowoomba. It connects the Warrego Highway at Helidon Spa in the east to the Gore Highway at Athol in the west via Charlton.

About the Role:
Ventia's Civil Team are recruiting landscape labourers to ensure the Toowoomba Second Range Crossing landscaping is consistently maintained to the highest standard, with a goal to provide a safe and aesthetically pleasing motoring experience for its patrons. It offers an exciting opportunity to redefine excellence in this new and ongoing maintenance project.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Remove litter and debris from roadways and drainage systems.
- Perform roadside landscaping work, such as clearing weeds and brush, and general vegetative maintenance.

What's required:

- 6 months laboring experience
- Must be multiskilled and work on a variety of different tasks assigned.
- Familiar with mowing, weed control and slashing operations.
- Operation of whipper snipper
- HR license is not required but is preferred and will attract a higher pay rate.
