**The Company**

Capital Coaches is a newly established coach company, operating out of Queanbeyan NSW, servicing areas within and around the ACT. We are focused primarily on the transportation of school groups during their school excursions to the Canberra region. We pride ourselves on providing a professional and enjoyable service to all passengers travelling with us.

**The Position**

Capital Coaches is after a full time employee, who is willing to fulfil a dynamic position involving the transportation and entertainment of school students during their excursions.

Primarily this position will involve the transportation of school students throughout Canberra as they visit popular Canberra attractions during their school excursion. Groups are transported to several attractions per day and then returned to their Canberra based accommodation. With short distances between attractions, drivers are only required to spend limited time behind the wheel, as well as allowing drivers to return home and sleep in their own beds each night. Additional driving routes will most commonly include pick up and return of groups to the Sydney region as well as day trips to the Snow Mountains area.

- Substantial base rate of pay (without requiring overtime to supplement income)
- Ability to stay home most nights - as we operate primarily within or around the Canberra region, you will be able to stay home most nights with very limited overnight trips for drivers.

**Skills and Experience**

The successful applicant will demonstrate a committed work attitude with a willingness to learn and adhere to company policies and procedures. Skills and experience required will include:

- A friendly and happy personality
- Hold a Heavy Ridged License
- Hold a Bus Driver Authority OR ACT equivalent allowing for operation of public passenger vehicles
- Hold a current working with children’s check, or equivalent - or willingness to obtain
- Willingness to undergo training for the implementation of activities and programs.
- Ability to maintain coaches - cleaning, general maintenance etc.
- Knowledge of the Canberra area and experience with coach transport of the area would be advantageous but is not essential.
