- Newcastle or Sydney based

**About the role**:
Due to an internal secondment, we seeking a WHS Specialist to support continuous improvement throughout the Lifestyle Solutions business. Your responsibilities will include:

- Undertaking audits, investigations and inspections
- Monitoring and reviewing the WHS management system
- Acting as a partner with operations teams on reducing WHS risks and concerns
- Ensuring all relevant legislation, policies and procedures are effective and implemented

**About you**:

- Experience in a WHS role, ideally within the disability sector and relevant tertiary qualifications
- Sound understanding of WHS compliance / reporting requirements / systems and processes
- Proven ability to engage with various stakeholders and to manage complex WHS issues
- Strong understanding of WHS legislation and regulations, risk frameworks and their implementation
- Demonstrated ability to manage workplace safety compliance
- High level analytical and reporting skills, attention to detail and the ability to conduct audits/inspections/investigations identifying risks and trends and recommending appropriate action
- Current Class C (minimum) Drivers Licence
- Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain one)
