**Day Shift Operator - Plastic Injection Moulding**

**About the role**
The day shift operator will work with one other operator to keep the factory operating from;
**Monday to Thursday**

**07:30 AM - 16:30 PM**

**Friday**

**07:30 AM - 13:30 PM**

In this position the operator will be control of running a manual machine for 4 hours, then run the factory floor for the remaining 4 hours. It is the duty of the operator to ensure the safe and effective operation of the machinery and follow the plan and guidance of the Factory Supervisor. No experience is needed but factory experience is a plus.

Tasks will include:

- Operating a manually run machine for 4 Hours.
- Setting and changing machine criteria.
- Managing machine raw material consumption.
- Checking and monitoring the machines to ensure consistent quality output.
- Packing the jobs accordingly.
- Checking product for quality.
- Carrying out the tasks assigned by your supervisor.
- Resolving any machine alarms or issues that occur.
- Following strict procedures to ensure the safe and effective operation of machinery.

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead by example and build a cohesive team to achieve results and shared successes.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:
