**Job Description**:
SGS is looking for a Inspector to join our lab in Malaga.
- Inspection of all transport means loading/discharging supervision, ensuring concise recording and reporting of details to SGS global standards and procedures.
- Inspecting, sampling and testing and other operational work as required by the business unit on bulk commodities which may include weekend and after hours work and travel out of the place of residence for periods of time.
- Provide support to Maritime Team Leader by conducting maritime related inspection for which is trained for.
- Preparation of associated worksheets and documentation.
- Time Management - Timely submission of all inspection reports/paperwork and full shipment details within the specified time as dictated by the client.
- Responsible (in coordination with Coordinator and Admin role) for organising and maintaining up to date documentation required by Global OI statistics, like: training records, Take 5s, fatigue management, mileage etc

**Qualifications**:

- Mechanical knowledge for inspection purposes
- Knowledge in Quality Systems.
- Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office suite.
- Current drivers licence and machinery operating tickets where applicable.
- Proven experience in sampling minerals products.
- Ability to prepare written reports.
