**ABOUT HECTOR'S**:
We have 3 thriving Delis in Melbourne and big dreams to expand across the state and beyond. We're consistently ranked #1 in Melbourne's sandwich market, serving up fresh sandwiches (and salads), made by Chefs, delivered with warmth and a purpose to pioneer the hospitality landscape. Having recently and successfully launched a 4-day work week for all our Deli supervisors and managers, we continue our quest to become an employer of choice.
**YOUR DAY-TO-DAY**:
- Lead our team on all day-to-day operations in the Deli
- Drive our business initiatives through focusing on guests’ satisfaction, people development, training & key business metrics
- Manage wastage, COGs, ordering, stocktakes, average spends, wait times & food safety
- Providing support to your team by being hands-on. This job is an on-the-tools job - you will be working in the deli across all areas (service & prep)
**ABOUT YOU**:
You're a food lover with a real knack for connecting with people, be it our guests or team members. A natural leader who has a genuine care for our product quality, people & brand. Our DMs can be called on to do all things kitchen and all things guest/coffee.
You must have previous experience in a hospitality management role. You need to know your way around a P&L, know your numbers and importantly, our people and product.
Leading the team at Hector’s can be... hectic, we’re busy and our customers are eager to get their Hector’s fix. Your ability to keep cool under pressure and keep the team focused on the task at hand and supported in a fast-paced environment will be hugely advantageous. You need to have strong attention to detail in this role and be committed to our quest to pioneer the hospitality landscape.
