In the role of Manager (Heavy Vehicle Assurance) you will you will lead and manage a team that provides high level operational advice to the Director Heavy vehicle Operations and other departmental senior officers on all matters concerning Heavy Vehicle Telematics and Assurance functions for the heavy vehicle industry.

**Accountabilities include**:

- Provide authoritative advice to the Director and Senior Officers in Transport and Main Roads,.
- Provide leadership and high level advice.
- Provide leadership and guidance to other areas of the department.
- Work collaboratively with government and industry bodies.
- Lead and report on appropriately focused research and development concerning the enhancement of heavy vehicle and other road use monitoring systems.
- Lead and manage the people and resources associated with the Heavy Vehicle Assurance team.
- Lead and manage all heavy vehicle assurance reporting and non compliance report validations.
- Lead and manage industry consultation and education sessions.
