**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead and support procurement activities, ensuring compliance with policies, regulations, and governance frameworks.
- Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to support operational needs and community priorities.
- Engage and negotiate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to secure optimal value and service delivery.
- Provide expert advice and support on tendering, contracting, and supplier management processes.
- Monitor and evaluate procurement performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.

**About You**

To excel in this role, you will have:

- Proven experience in strategic procurement, ideally within the public or government sector.
- Strong commercial acumen and knowledge of procurement frameworks and legislation.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills, with a collaborative and proactive approach.
- Experience managing tenders and contracts, with a focus on delivering sustainable outcomes.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, procurement, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
