Maxima's client, one of SE Queensland's largest local council's, is after an experienced Safety Camera Supervisor to join their team.

The Safety Camera Program - Operations and Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for all operational components of the Safety Camera Program, including the management of the Safety Camera Program Monitoring Room.

This role is a casual position with Monday - Friday FT hours - $48.03 + super.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide expert advice on CCTV and security to the Safety Camera Program - Coordinator
- Provide expert advice to the Queensland Police Service, and other key stakeholders regarding operational enquiries relating to the Safety Camera Program
- Test and trial new technology and provide feedback and advice to relevant stakeholders
- Conduct camera location assessments and provide recommendations to key stakeholders in respect to future camera locations
- Analyse incident data, identify trends and patterns, make logical deductions, and draw conclusions
- Supervise, guide and train contractors to ensure the effective delivery of the day-to-day operations of the Monitoring Room
- Lead, develop and mentor the Community Safety Support Officer
- Ensure the Monitoring Room is sufficiently staffed 24 hours a day 7 days a week
- Coordinate procurement processes, including quotation and tender processes, associated with the effective delivery of public safety monitoring and reporting services

**About You**:

- Current C class driver's license
- Possess a current QLD class 1 security license
- Current National Police Check or willing to obtain
- Demonstrated skills, qualifications and experience in managing a monitoring room
- Leadership skills with experience in managing and supervising the performance of a team
- Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate records; produce quality reports, as well as procedures and policies, which are clear, accurate and concise
