**ABOUT THE ROLE**

TAFE NSW are seeking a Full Time Permanent Teacher of Heavy Vehicle and Mobile Plant to deliver a combination of standardised and some specialised training to a range of student cohorts at the Wetherill Park Campus. The role requires you to tailor your delivery to school-based apprentices, trade apprentices and post and pre-trade delivery.

The role is responsible for a range of activities, which supports learners, and enhances the student learning experience. As a professional educator you will skill the workforce of tomorrow by constructing and guiding the educative process with a mixture of workshop and classroom delivery. In the role, you will deliver face-to-face educational programs and facilitate practical learning, enabling students to achieve their desired outcomes.

**ABOUT YOU**

To succeed in the role, you have an outgoing personality and a love of training to share your knowledge and industry experience to ensure that your students are set up for success. You will be committed to keeping industry relevant and current to ensure your students are prepared to meet the demands of this engaging industry. You have demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with stakeholders including colleagues, industry, and students. You are self-driven and disciplined individual, who can manage high workloads and competing demands within a dynamic and flexible work environment.

To be successful in this role you must:

- Hold the TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or the TAE40110 qualification with the required additional upgrade units, or higher-level qualification in adult education.
- Have a minimum of five (5) years relevant and post-qualification experience in the automotive industry relevant to your qualifications. With the ability to understand the content of the learning materials and the processes used in the discipline.

Highly desirable is the Fair-Trading NSW tradesperson certificate (licence) in the class of ‘motor mechanic’. However, this is not essential.
