Advanced Fresh Concepts is largest supplier of fresh sushi to supermarkets throughout Australia and North America, an industry pioneer with over 30 years experience.

AFC has partnered with Australia's leading supermarket chain to introduce its successful hybrid sushi program. Our sushi is prepared fresh daily, in-store with high quality ingredients and is conveniently packaged for customers to eat any time of the day.

Our rapidly expanding business is seeking to appoint a Wholesale Manager in our Central Kitchen based in Melbourne (Footscray).

This position will report to our National Operations Manager and will see you play a pivotal role in operations of our wholesale business.

Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

- Oversee daily wholesale operations to ensure all orders are fulfilled and meet customers’ specifications
- Evaluate and review continual process improvements in all aspects of our wholesale operations
- Be proactive to identify and resolve business critical needs
- Analyse sales data and operational performance to meet company’s financial objectives, with a keen focus on overall profitability
- Assist AFC management with budget analysis and planning
- Foster strong client partnerships as one of AFC’s key client liaisons to deliver mutually rewarding outcomes
- Effectively communicate with all stakeholders and report KPI performance to AFC management on a regular basis
- Hire, recruit and train all key wholesale personnel
- Assist AFC management to establish KPIs for all wholesale personnel
- Assist AFC management with annual performance reviews of all wholesale personnel against KPIs and operational standards
- Develop a succession plan strategy to ensure uninterrupted business continuity
- May be required to work in the kitchen initially

- Personable, with the ability to communicate well with people of diverse backgrounds and levels of authority
- Have Excellent organisational and negotiation skills
- Be able to adapt to constant change and manage multiple priorities with ease
- Proven ability to lead, coach and mentor multiple teams in different states
- Able to travel as and when required
- Possess a customer first mentality and can-do attitude
- Strong computer and numeracy skills
- Demonstrate a high level of business acumen
- Have minimum 3 years’ experience in the same or similar position

- Sushi Experience
- Tertiary qualifications
- Food Safety Supervisor qualifications

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
