**Marvellous Nanny Wanted in Wynnum (Relocating to Clayfield in Term 4)**

**Open to**:Having one nanny until January 2026 and a new nanny from February 2026 onward

**Schedule & Commitment**

**From 19th August 2025 - January 2026**:

- Monday: 6:00am-8:30am & 2:30pm-5:30pm (split shift) + extra hours for household tasks
- Tuesday to Thursday: 6:00am-5:30pm (full days)
- Friday: 6:00am-8:30am & 2:30pm-5:30pm (split shift)
- School Holidays: Full-time hours available (flexible)

**From February 2026 (Ongoing)**:

- Monday to Friday: 6:00am-8:30am & 2:30pm-5:30pm (split shifts)
- Additional household hours available
- Optional full-day hours during school holidays

**Travel** **with family (Optional)**
- 1 week away from 29 September 2025 Port Douglas

**TIME OFF**
- 3 weeks off at Christmas

**About the Family**

This fun-loving and active professional family has three energetic boys aged 7, 5, and 2. Both parents run their own businesses in the building industry and work full time. Their home is filled with energy, outdoor play, and plenty of sports—afternoons often include soccer, footy, bike riding, or backyard games.

The family is currently based in **Wynnum** and will **relocate to Clayfield** before **Term 4.** The two older boys will transition to new schools, and the youngest will move to a new daycare. Until the move is complete, the nanny will need to manage school and daycare runs from Manly to Clayfield.
- 7-year-old (Grade 2): Soccer enthusiast, energetic, enjoys school (especially maths), and needs encouragement with daily reading.
- 5-year-old (Prep): Rugby league fan, excelling with sight words and early numeracy.
- 2-year-old: Attends daycare Mondays and Fridays, very active and athletic, already confidently kicking and passing balls.

The children don’t have screen time from Monday to Friday, so the nanny must be capable of keeping them engaged through creative play, outdoor adventures, and varied activities. There are no pets in the household.

**A Glimpse Into the Week**

**Mornings**:

- Prepare breakfast and school lunches
- Get children ready for school/daycare
- Engage them with reading, games, or light activities
- Drop-offs using your own car
- Light household tasks (e.g. washing, folding)

**Afternoons**:

- Return after your break
- Prepare afternoon tea
- School/daycare pick-up
- Park visits or outdoor play
- Assist with showers before parents take over

**On Non-Daycare Days (Tues, Wed, Thurs - 2025 only)**:

- Full-day care for the 2-year-old
- Park play in the morning
- Lunch and nap
- Household support (changing sheets, tidying, light shopping)
- Playtime after nap
- Pick-up older boys and afternoon park trip with all three
- Start dinner-time routines

**Regular Weekly Activities**
- Tuesdays: Chess Club (7-year-old)
- School Holidays: Full days with all three boys (flexible, youngest still attends daycare)

**Transport**
- Own vehicle required
- Fuel allowance ($0.98/km) and toll pass provided

**To Be Considered, You Must Have**:

- Blue Card and Police Check
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
- 2 professional references
- Open driver's licence
- Reliable, insured vehicle
- Non smoking and non vaping

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Wynnum QLD 4178: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
