Join the team at Clayfield Early Learning Centre, privately-owned service catering for up to 75 children daily. We're committed to providing a nurturing, inspiring environment, and that includes the food we serve. With meals supplied by Kids Gourmet Food, we are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Hand to help support the daily flow of nutritious, child-friendly meals.

In this part-time position, you'll work 5 days per week (Monday to Friday) from 7:30am to 12:30pm. Our Centre is conveniently located near public transport, making your commute a breeze.

You will be responsible for:

• Preparing and serving morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea
• Heating and plating ready-made meals
• Cutting fruit and assisting with general food prep
• Placing weekly food orders via the Kids Gourmet Food (KGF) portal
• Managing dietary and allergy requirements
• Keeping the kitchen clean and audit-ready
• Occasionally engaging with children and assisting in classrooms if needed

You will be a great fit if you:

• Hold or are willing to obtain a Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
• Have a current Blue Card
• Bring experience in a childcare or similar kitchen setting
• Are confident managing food allergies and risk minimisation
• Work well independently and have strong time management skills
• Are friendly, reliable, and have an eye for detail
• (Bonus) Hold or are studying a Cert III in Early Childhood Education & Care
