The role You will contribute to various procurement projects including initial planning, development of documentation and planning of projects. You will assist in the maintenance of detailed documentary records and the analysis of complex procurement matters. In addition, you will contribute to supplier negotiations and monitor supplier performance and products. Across your engagement you will rotate across the different category teams to gain a broad range of experience in health procurement.
The successful personThe essential requirements for this role are:

- Achieves results: Work within agreed priorities to ensure the completion of tasks while maintaining accurate records and files
- Supports productive working relationships: Ability to develop productive relationships with internal clients and suppliers and respond under direction to changes in client needs and expectations.
- Displays personal drive and integrity: Ability to work as directed to achieve work objectives and take personal responsibility for the accurate completion of work, seeking assistance when required.
- Communicates with influence: Adapts communication style and approach to address the needs of different people or audiences by listening carefully to others and ensuring their views have been understood.

It is a condition of employment for this graduate role for the applicant to have completed a relevant bachelor degree or higher within the two years prior to commencing employment with Queensland Health. Relevant degrees can include:

- Bachelor of Business/Commerce (Finance/Accounting/International Business)
- Bachelor of Laws
- Master of Business Administration (Supply Chain Management)
