Here at Brighton kids, we are a family owned and operated childcare centre operating between the hours of 7:30am - 6:30pm striving to create a home away from home for both our educators and families alike. At Brighton Kids we have strong beliefs that we are nothing without our wonderful educators and staff. Tasks Required:

- assisting in the preparation of materials and equipment for children's education and recreational activities
- managing children's behaviour and guiding children's social development
- preparing and conducting activities for children
- entertaining children by reading and playing games
- supervising children in recreational activities
- supervising the daily routine of children
- supervising the hygiene of children

Our ideal applicant will also have:

- A strong knowledge of the EYLF/NQS
- A passion for creating programs that will allow children to thrive and develop in their own individual ways, while offering a range of different learning opportunities
- Someone who is a strong and effective communicator, that works well both within a team as well as on their own
- Willingness to identify, plan and engage in a range of different professional learning opportunities throughout the year

**Qualifications required**:

- ACECQA approved certificate III level qualification or actively working towards a certificate IIII in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Valid 'Employee' Working with Children Check
- First Aid, anaphylaxis and asthma qualifications
- Protecting Children - Mandatory Reporting online learning
- Food Handling Certificate and Safe Sleep Training is desirable

Pay: $73,500.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay

Licence/Certification:

- Working with Children Check (required)

- Australia (required)
