**The team & opportunity**:
Our newly formed **Energy & Utilities **business is seeking an experienced **Technical SME **to join our **Telecommunications **Wireless **team. In this role you will provide support for all field teams including interpretation of technical specifications and an overarching support of subcontractor management.

To be successful in this role you will have a strong understanding of the telecommunications cabling standards and regulations coupled with offshore design subcontractor management experience. Above all you will be a motivated, collaborative and optimistic individual.
- Proven Quality Assurance experience in a design capacity within telecommunications.
- Excellent communication skills enabling you to liaise and build relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Have a customer-oriented focus with drive to achieve service-based outcomes.

**Some key responsibilities include**:

- Ensure preconstruction walkout information is adequate, checked and signed off against all mandatory requirements.
- Implement improvement actions that can be rolled out to Field Surveyors.
- Ensure the CVA and final design meets the requirements of Downers build.
- Review hand overpacks for Quality and routine inspections of sites nearing completion.
