**Crushing Superintendent**

**The key accountabilities of this role are**:

- Ensuring compliance with statutory and corporate responsibilities for Occupational Safety, Health, Quality and Environment
- Deliver against the Companies’ safety management plan (this is achieved through the LIF, PSI’s CCFV etc.).
- Oversee the safe operation of the plant during production.
- Plan, schedule, delegate and manage maintenance.
- Providing direction, feedback, and leadership to the Operations Team, including managing the performance of day shift crews and shift Supervisors.
- Managing Control Room Operations
- Maintaining effective and professional working relationships with our the Client and our sub-contractors

- **Analytical Thinking**:Can collate data from different sources, identify patterns in data, establish relationships and draw conclusions.
- **Attention to Detail**: Able to 'zoom in' to detail quickly and accurately, check information and identify inconsistencies and mistakes.
- **Coaching & Developing People**: Gives honest and timely feedback in a constructive manner, provides support for coaches to learn new skills, collaborates with coaches to set goals and work towards them.
- **Communication**: Well-developed English language oral and written communication skills.
- **Decision-Making**: Makes pragmatic decisions based on range of factors, able to make decisions quickly where necessary based on incomplete information, demonstrates logic to back up decisions.
- **Influencing**:Demonstrated ability to engage with and influence others to achieve consensus.

**Essential Criteria**
- Applicable Trade Qualification or Tertiary education in a relevant field.
- Valid current Australian recognised driver’s licence.
- 10+ yrs. Supervisory experience in mining or crushing including minimum 1 year Superintendent Experience.
- Demonstrated experience in running multi-disciplined teams.
- Demonstrated experience solving problems and driving change.
- Experience in planning strategically and delivering against the plan.
- Strong technical trade knowledge and demonstrated experience overseeing complex projects.
- Experience and success in implementing systems, policies and procedures.
