MorethaNDIS are seeking disability support workers to join our awesome team, supporting a young boy 2:1 both in-home (family home) and in the community.

**About the client**:
He is a cheeky, social and active 11-year old boy diagnosed with Mowat Wilson Syndrome, Autism, ADHD, speech difficulties and complex behaviours. He loves basketball, cars, his family, exploring, accessing the community, socializing and playing. He's got a wicked sense of humor and will keep you on your toes.
**What you will bring to the team**:
- Open minded and able to follow clear direction
- Able to be fun and silly (fake fart noises are a MUST)
- Willingness to learn, and accept feedback
- Flexible schedule
- Able to take iniaitive, and lead by example, or willingness to learn
- An understanding of trauma informed care, or willingness to learn
- Able to commit to a team and be reliable
- Physically fit and able to keep up with an active 11-year old boy with high support needs
**About the role**:
- Be part of a team, always working with another support worker (2:1 ratio)
- Opportunities for personal and professional development, mentoring and training provided in behaviour support, personal care, and bowel care management
- Hands on experience implementing and following positive reinforcement protocols to increase a childs quality of life, autonomy and independence
- Lifelong professional connections and experience working with a multidisciplinary team, learning skills that are transferrable to other careers within the industry
**Documents required or willing to obtain**
- WWC (Working with Children clearance)
- NDIS/DCSI Worker Screening Check
- CPR Certificate
- First Aid Certificate
- Valid Drivers licence
- Comprehensive car insurance
