Our Energy team is continuing to grow and build upon our solid track record in Energy and Energy Advisory in Australia and New Zealand. You will be part of a dynamic team, committed to the provision of regulatory advisory services to the energy sector, as well as other industry sectors.
The Opportunity:
Mott MacDonald’s Energy Advisory team is seeking a Graduate Advisor to support our network regulation, business case, and economic evaluation work.
Joining us in Brisbane you’ll have the opportunity to work alongside a diverse team of advisors who are passionate about what they do, with a proven track record guiding our clients, and delivering our expertise solving intricate challenges supporting our clients across APNA (and globally). The projects you will be engaged on are based across primarily our energy client portfolio, but it is anticipated that a general focus will be applied to other economic and social infrastructure such as water and transport.
To be successful, you will be committed to the highest standards of service, focused on strong client relationships and exceptional project outcomes.
Your typical day would look like this:
- Support the Energy Advisory team with the delivery of projects relating to network and asset management and investments within the context of economic regulation
- Undertake technical, economic, and financial analysis and modelling to support recommendations informing our clients’ decision making
- Prepare written analysis to support recommendations and presentations
- Provide support to Mott MacDonald projects local and elsewhere in APNA (and globally)
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Energy, Economics, Electrical or related field
- Enthusiastic, with a passion for continual professional development
- Self-motivated with good organisational capability
- Team and client focused and able to collaborate in a multi-discipline multi-geography environment
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills, and
- Capacity to develop leadership skills as well as technical capability
