Nepean Hospital is a teaching hospital that provides tertiary referral services in emergency care, coronary care, diagnostics, gynaecology, paediatric, neonatal intensive care/ICU, maternity, mental health, rehabilitation, and surgery. The Nepean Campus has recently experienced tremendous growth and aims to support communities within and outside of Sydney’s western suburbs, providing world-class clinical facilities, services, and care.

An opportunity has become available for an experienced Dietitian to join the Allied Health team within Nepean Cancer Care Centre. Your role is part of the Dietetics Department and Nepean Cancer Care Centre (NCCC) located onsite at Nepean Hospital. In this position, you will provide high-level clinical nutrition services to clients of Nepean Hospital and NCCC (inpatients and outpatients). The position provides clinical supervision to Dietitians Level 1-2-3 and support to all other Dietitians who are providing services to patients with cancer across NBMLHD.

**What you will bring to the role**:

- Tertiary qualifications in Nutrition and Dietetics and eligible for full membership of the Dietitians’ Association of Australia.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and to perform novel and complex tasks.
- Extensive experience and up-to-date knowledge in the nutritional management of patients with cancer, including experience in oncology and haematology multidisciplinary teams, and in managing inpatient and outpatient oncology/hematology caseloads.
- Demonstrated high level interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills. With well-developed skills in clinical supervision and student teaching and training.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and complete quality improvement and service evaluation processes related to nutritional services for oncology clients.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to service management via review of service provision and/or redesign to improve nutritional services, operations and outcomes.
- Current Driver's Licence and willingness to use for work purpose travel.
