- 255491Our Federal Government client is seeking a Data Analyst. This is a long-term contract role with an initial duration of 12 months and the possibility of extension for up to 2 years. The role is located in ACT, with the option for remote/flexible work arrangements to be negotiated.
- Undertaking data visualisation, analysis, modelling and projections using PIP data from various data sources
- Working with internal and external stakeholders to support policy and program evaluation through the provision of data and advice
- Supporting other programs of work within the Section and Branch, including preparation of briefs and data requests
- Developing and enhancing the PIP program's reporting capabilities via Power BI to provide better operational reporting with improved operational support to practices, PHNs and stakeholders, more comprehensive payment reporting, and more accurate forecasting modelling for the PIP program and the associated incentives.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

- Experience with design, development and implementation of business solutions
- Demonstrated experience with data presentation and visualisation focusing on user experience design
- Demonstrated experience with data modelling, analysis and cleansing
- Demonstrated experience or ability to use Power BI, Sharepoint and Power Query
- Demonstrated experience with DAX (or similar).

It is desirable if you have:

- Relevant IT qualifications/certifications
- Good understanding of Databases, Frameworks, Design, Algorithms, etc., and ability to adapt to Emerging Technologies and Tools
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with clients in a professional manner
- Ability to work cohesively, transparently and collaboratively in a team environment, including when making decisions.
