About the Role_**

**Social Work Grade 2 - Full Time - Fixed Term**

The Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital (Eye and Ear) is a specialist hospital seeking an experienced Grade 2 Social Worker to undertake a diverse role within the hospital. The position is full time for fixed term - 12 months.

This senior role in the Eye and Ear Social Work department will provide support to the existing social work team and be primarily responsible for delivering responsibilities that sit within the Disability Liaison Program and SHRFV/MARAM (Strengthening Hospital response to Family Violence and Multi Agency Referral and Assessment Management).

The successful applicant will demonstrate excellent communication skills, exhibit ethical and professional responsibility, have a high level of clinical assessment and intervention skills preferably within the public health sector and the ability to implement and deliver project tasks.

This role will work across outpatients, emergency and inpatient settings, participate in relevant clinical meetings and engage with other allied health, nursing and medical professionals. This role will also include participating in external meetings in regard to the Disability Liaison Program and SHFRV/MARAM including reports and public speaking within Eye and Ear in regard to all these programs.Centrally located, close to public transport and a short walk to the CBD, we offer considerable employee benefits, including salary packaging, subsidised car parking as well as educational support.
