**Job Description**:
We are looking for an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our Global Logistics division based in Parkinson. Working 4 on and 4 off on a permanent basis, you will play an essential role in creating a high-performing, positive, and safety-obsessed team culture.

As the supervisor you will be responsible for the allocations and despatch of grocery loads, regularly communicating with drivers and stakeholders, compliance and managing staff to ensure business objectives are achieved in a safe and cost-effective way.

**As the Operations Supervisor, you will**:

- Allocate and coordinate drivers and assets to execute the service delivery plan.
- Ensure services are monitored for on-time delivery, and proactively collaborate with the customer to meet targeted delivery windows.
- Attend to customer requirements within a set timeframe and manage subcontractors where required.
- Work with the transport team to lead a safe and positive work culture.
- Promote a safe and efficiency focused work environment which is aligned with management objectives.

**Qualifications**:
**To be successful in this role, you will need**:

- Previous experience within a similar leadership role - Transport/Logistics.
- Demonstrated experience with Operations, CoR, Fatigue Management.
- An analytical mind-set - critical thinking and logical reasoning.
- Exceptional communication skills - written and verbal.
- Computer literacy skills - MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- High attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines within a time-pressured environment.
