Beacon Lighting operates a large-scale distribution centre in Parkinson Brisbane which services the Queensland store network.

**THE ROLE**

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the purpose of this role is to coordinate the efficient picking and delivery of scheduled customer orders by allocating resources effectively. You will work closely with team leaders to ensure productivity and maintain a high level of customer service.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- facilitate the picking of all scheduled customer orders
- work closely with the leadership team to plan resources to complete all scheduled customer orders
- plan and coordinate other operational resources to facilitate all replenishment of pick faces on warehouse.
- use all system and specialised administrative record and reporting tools to maintain accurate despatch records
- liaise with external, internal and 3rd party logistics to facilitate the scheduled despatch of all customer and other warehouse pallets
- work closely with other coordinators to ensure that resources are aligned with warehouse operational requirements.
- develop and maintain healthy and productive relations with stores and customers
- train and learn other coordinator positions. When the business requires, operate in more than one coordinator position
- maintain an active role in planning daily operations with team leaders and leadership team
- provide feedback and report issues that may affect the smooth running of the warehouse operation
- provide support and training for warehouse staff to improve overall operational standard
- process and pick stock orders, using equipment such as the forklift to access stock and to deliver it to dispatch area
- prepare goods for dispatch by safe and appropriate packing and wrapping of pallets
- use RF Scanner accurately in all functions relating to the picking and replenishment process
- assist as required with the receipt of incoming goods and container unloading

- excellent organisational skills and be computer literate
- take pride in maintaining an efficient and organised workplace
- must have a valid LO Licence and LF licence
- lift and move stock and other items up to 20kgs, work at heights, bend and stretch, push and pull, and stand for prolonged periods on a regular basis
- operate equipment, such as power tools, forklifts
- a medical examination will be required to ensure suitability for the position
