**ACCOUNTS PAYABLE OFFICER**

**Exciting 3 month contract for someone with a strong process orientation.**

Operating through communities across Australia, this support organisation is the central point of focus for primary producers and communities adversely affected by climate events.

In this contract position - lasting 3 months you will work within a team of accounts professionals to deliver exceptional internal and external service.

Within the role you will
- Processing AP runs three times a week
- Investigating through a large volume of draft and outstanding AP records to verify payment
- Requesting statements from regular suppliers and reconciling the accounts
- Completing a data cleanse with the supplier contact list
- Assisting in documenting an accounts payable procedure

To fit comfortably into this role, you will need to be an enthusiastic, hands on and helpful team player with strong written, verbal and inter-personal skills. Completely computer-literate with provable experience in a volume accounts payable department. You will have proven proficiency with the Microsoft suite of programs and the ability to learn quickly in a busy environment.

Experience with Xero is highly desirable.
