**Role Purpose**

As a **Field Installer - Repairer**, you will work without immediate supervision or direction, work in a fast-paced team that provides our customers with a great experience by activating and assuring telecommunications / technology products and services, in the home and or business.

Actively participate in a diverse team environment to deliver the optimum customer and commercial outcomes aligned to the corporate strategy.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Deliver seamless service rectification and product installations, to the full satisfaction of Telstra’s customers.
- Compliance to the prescribed quality standards, practices and procedures.
- Contribute to personal and public image, by compliance with all relevant policies, practices and regulations in an effective and responsible manner.
- Establish peer relationships.
- Identify process improvement and automation opportunities to improve production and reduce wasted or ineffective truck rolls.
- Maintain adequate operational tools, materials, equipment and products to maximise efficiency.
- Adhere to Health, Safety and Wellbeing standards, our Code of Conduct, our Telstra Values and Corporate policies.
- Ensure complete, accurate and timely entry of timesheets, job transaction records and site survey requirements. Ensure correct booking codes are used to capture any on or off region bookings.
- Connect or replace customer equipment where required, return faulty equipment in a timely manner.
- Ensure Fee for Service processes are adhered to maximise the external revenue stream.
- Undertake recalls.
- Possess skills regarding the utilisation of test equipment, tools and instruments, aligned to the products and services listed below.

- ADSL (Simplex & Complex)

- ULL Interference Investigations
- Inspections (Poles and Network Sites)
- Power Remediation (Restore power to Network Sites)
- Power Routines (Proactive maintenance of power infrastructure in Network sites)

**About you**

To be successful in the role, you'll bring skills and experience in:

- An employee will be required to possess and maintain the relevant and applicable licences/qualifications to perform this role, as deemed mandatory by regulatory and legal authorities and must also possess and maintain a current driver’s licence.
- Demonstrate experience and competency across all listed skills and accountabilities is essential.
- Evidence of the ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
- Proven competency in operating all test equipment required to perform the skillset listed. Ability to analyse and report results for voice, data and network technologies.
- Certificate IV in Telecommunications + relevant open cabling licence endorsed with Aerial (A), Underground (U).
- Traffic management qualifications.
- An industry white card is also required.
