**What will be your role?**

We are seeking a highly experienced and enthusiastic Mechanical Fitter on a Fulltime basis. The role is mainly involved repairing, inspecting and maintaining the company's extrusion lines within our maintenance department. You will be joining a tight knit highly skilled team who value workmanship, and a well-established Polyethylene Pipe manufacturer.

**Key task and responsibilities**:

- Routine inspection and testing mechanical systems
- Executing preventative maintenance plans and breakdown maintenance
- Planning, scheduling and completion of maintenance tasks
- Participating in Safety, Quality and Continuous Improvement activities to enhance workplace
- Quoting parts and repairs in preparation for purchase

**To be considered you must meet the following criteria**:

- Mechanical Fitter Trade Certificate
- Industrial diagnostic and fault finding experience
- Understanding of Safety systems and processes including Risk Assessments, incident reporting and planned inspections
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment desirable
- Flexible, punctual & motivated
- High Risk Work License: Forklift (EWP & Confined Spaces desirable)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual

**Salary**: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
