- 9 day fortnight
- 72.5 hour fortnight
- Location: Caboolture

As an Investigations Officer you will:

- Personally manage and undertake comprehensive investigations and initiate compliance actions to resolve a variety of legislative breaches in relation to dog attacks, regulated dog compliance, illegal waste dumping and significant alteration of public land offences
- Provide expert customer service, education & engage & communicate with a variety of stakeholders
- Provide high quality reports & briefs of evidence as well as representing the Council before the Magistrates Court & the QCAT Tribunals as required

**About you**

You will be a strong and customer focused communicator, well versed will representing in a professional and courteous manner, which incorporates our values and delivers service outcomes that meet the needs of a diverse range of audiences.

You will have effective time management skills and decision-making abilities to be able to work within timeframes and deadlines and within a regulatory team environment.

Whilst it is not essential you are experienced within local government; you will hold a Certificate IV in Government (Investigations or Regulatory Services) or similar discipline and have strong verbal and written skills required to prepare and represent Council at legal proceedings.
