**The Position**

Our client is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Bookkeeper to work in their Gold Coast Head Office who can work both independently and as a part of a team.

You will be a part of the Client Accounts Finance Team and will provide front-line financial and accounts solutions that support their operations and clients across Australia.

This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who wants to build on their experience. Working closely with the senior members of the team, your responsibilities will include:

- Assisting Accounts Receivable Department and provide backup on a day-to-day basis
- Review year-end financial workpapers & reports and assist in preparation of the year end financials for over 700 clients.
- Assisting the accounting team with various tasks including superannuation, BAS and tax related reporting duties
- Ensuring compliance with all internal controls
- Respond to information requests to both internal and external clients as required
- Providing exceptional customer service to all stakeholders
- Other ad hoc duties as required within the Finance Team

- Experience within a professional services firm
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft office suit and the ability to quickly learn internal industry specific software
- Strong attention to detail
- A proactive attitude with the ability to multi-task
